General Experience: Over twenty-five years' experience as a counselor, supervisor and manager in addictive diseases and psychiatric care. Fifteen years' experience in ministry with five years in full-time ministry directing church-based community counseling center. Experience in public speaking, seminars, and college teaching throughout the US.. Published author of two books and many other articles and pamphlets.
December, 4993 to present: Director, The Covenant Counseling Centre, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Responsible for all professional counseling, supervision of counselors and interns, other pastorals care duties, workshops, and seminars.
February 1993 to December 1993: Program Director, Sexual Recovery Program, Renaissance Institute of Boca Raton, Florida. Development and operation of sexual recovery and trauma recovery programs in a long-term residential setting,
May, ! 992 to February 1993: Program Specialist, Glenbeigh Health Sources, West Palm Beach, Florida. Development of programs for trauma and sexual addictions.
August 1990 to May, 1992: Program Director, dual diagnosis unit of Savannas Hospital, Port St. Lucie, Florida. Management of 30-bed inpatient psychiatric unit, development of new programs, speaking and marketing responsibilities.
January, 1989 to January 1990 Program Manager, Hanley-Hazeld Center at St. Mary’s, West Palm Beach, Florida. Management of 60 residential beds, detox program, And outpatient services.
July, 1988 to January, 1989: Executive Director, Heritage Family Treatment Center, Jensen Beach, Florida. Management of a 36-bed adult addiction treatment facility.
February, 1986 to June, 1988: Corporate Staff, Glenbeigh Incorporated, Jupiter, Florida. Assignments include: Director of Clinical Support Services, Assistant Director of Marketing, and Administrator for Glenbeigh Hospital of the Palm Beaches.
November, 1983 to February, 1986: Director of Brighton Woods Treatment Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Responsible for an 80 bed detox and treatment facility and two outpatient centers. Opened and EAP program and an adolescent center.
December, 1982- November, 1983: Director of Libertas, a 25 bed addiction unit in St John's Hospital, Springfield, Illinois. Designed and opened this new program.
May, 1979 to December, 1982: Senior inpatient Counselor and Director of Special Projects for Parkview Centers, Inc. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Supervised inpatient addiction treatment, an eating disorders program, and developed programs for a local HMO.
September 1977 to April, 1979: Supervisor of the Senior Counseling Program for the North Suburban Family Service Center, Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Developed a full range of counseling services for senior citizens.
April, 1972 to September, 1977-. Inpatient Counselor for St. Mary's Rehabilitation Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
November, 1970 to April, 1972: Therapist with Hennepin County Alcoholism Therapy Unit in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
