Chris
has worked in varied capacities in the field of chemical
dependency,
ranging from counselor to program director. From 1993-2000, he
worked
as Director of Programs for The Healing Place, a highly
successful
program for homeless addict/alcoholic men and women, operated by
the Jefferson County Medical Society Outreach Program
Inc.
He has consulted with national and state organizations, and the private
sector. He is a Licensed Professional
Counselor in the state of Virginia. He is certified as an
Alcohol
and Drug Counselor in Kentucky, certified by NAADAC as a Master
Addiction
Counselor and as a NCAC II. He received a Master's Degree in
Management
of Substance Abuse Services from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA.

Our
associates have several hundred years of experience in
different
areas of the alcoholism and addictions field. Associates
have
directed programs and managed corporations, developed private practices
and consulted a wide range of organizations and companies including
government.
Some associates provide expertise in homelessness, addiction medicine,
research, community, corrections, and law enforcement. Associates are
published
in many medical journals, professional journals, and have written
several
books about alcoholism
and
recovery. They have taught in universities, special training
institutes,
world conferences, professional workshops and seminars.
